DataSafe Backup 1.0.71 is a powerful application with functions that help you protect your data performing backups of your sensitive information, producing compressed files. The built-in scheduler allows backups to run unattended. This application supports Intuitive and easy-to-use interface, full, incremental, differential and mirror backup types. The backup archives can be compressed in the standard zip format. and encrypted using a 256-bit AES encryption method. The files that are unchanged between different backup versions can be copied via hard links and can be targeted to any of the following destinations hard disks, network shares, CDs or FTP links. Detailed event logs are created after each backup or restore. Existing backups can be restored to the original location or to an alternate location. The files to be saved can be filtered with include and exclude filters. Although this application is powerful as well as easy-to-use, it lacks of the facility of creating backups on DVD. The size of the backups cannot exceed the size of a CD, if you make backups on CD. |
